First thing the Pacers do well on this possession is sprint to space to SPREAD the floor. Nesmith is going to get in position to set a PICK. Brunson signals for the switch - you can see him raise his arm.
After the pick there is a POP and Nesmith spaces out behind the 3 point line. You can see Nembhard initially signal for the corner player to CUT so he can SLIDE to the corner but realizes that Robinson is guarding the corner and Pacers do not want him closer to the paint. OR…
Perhaps Nembhard does this to trick Hart, as now Hart believes he will slide to the corner. Either way, As Nesmith gets out to space Nembhard cuts behind his defender as all eyes are on Haliburton.
What I love most about the Pacers is their TIMING, just like in this video. It also looked like New York was not going to send help on this possession and allow Brunson to guard.
